Welcome to my new blogspot post. Today’s treat are photos of my favorite place to walk. Beautiful scenery for a walk. Tuesday, June 29, 2021 Come take a walk with us. DH and Dusty our 6 yr old schnauzer are with me enjoying paradise. This is San Diego bay which is 20 min. from my home. These images were taken from Coronado Ca population 26,000. Coronado is a man made island and is home to the North Island Naval Air Station. This is where naval aviation began. The Hotel Del Coronado opened in February 1888. The DEL as locals call it, debuted as an architectural masterpiece, acclaimed for its spectacular seaside setting and world-famous weather. The Del is located on the ocean side of the island. It has a long and glorious history. It was the setting for the movie Some Like it Hot. DD celebrated her 6th birthday at the hotel. We stayed there one Weekend in lieu of a vacation that year.
